This shoot blends contradictions seamlessly – there are larger than life comical proportions, extreme enhanced female shaping and yet it’s all shot in black and white, which lends a classic and polished feel to it all.
The clever styling by Zeina Esmail is irreverent, ironic yet highly tailored with Yohji Yamamoto, Aurelio Costarella and Burberry taking centre stage. Add artistic sculptural hair and make-up by Anna Nenoiu and you have an eclectic mix resulting in this series of strong, modern fashion moments.
