Dj Rockid Hollands OFFICIALN0 ONE 6th time dj champion, and World finalist at the DMC world dj championships for like a thousend times hahahaBegan in 1996 at school party's. Under the wings of dj Fanatic quickly developed his arty dj skillz, first dj parties, then the battles. His last great battle was TurnTAblized, and that was the final shot for Rockid to end his Battle Carrier. He now Returns to the Clubs with his Unique sound of trick mixing, blending, scratching of Ragga, HipHop, RnB, and ClassicsHe Also dj's for The League of ExtraordinaryGentlemen, the new Formation of RudeBoy,( Former Urban Dance Squad/Junkie XL,) and for E-life. So Watch out....and if you Front.....Haha, let's Battle................
Incredibly versatile and armed with a lot of skills, that’s the only way to describe him nowadays.
This Korean/Dutch dj/producer, born in 1980 has been a musical fanatic since the age of four and knew at age sixteen that the turntables would be his instrument.
In 1998 Rockid joined the official DMC dj-championships, a prestigious competition for turntablists, to get more experience and learn to master the art of dj-ing. The DMC championships brought fame to many national and international dj’s. Rockid turned out to be one of Holland’s most fanatical turntablists and dominated this scene until 2002. Never done before in Holland, Rockid became Dutch DMC-champion 5 times and even became a world finalist which brought him to New York, London & Paris.
As a club-dj Rockid has seen almost every club in Holland and rocked big crowds at festivals like; Mysteryland, Dancevalley, Fast Forward Dance Parade. His musical journey took him over the Dutch borders to Monaco, London, Paris, Spain, Germany, New York, Texas, Detroit, Glastonburry, Belgium and Swiss.
Be on the look out for this crazy Korean because you never know what he is about to do next!
